Sarah Wayne Callies has been keen on acting throughout her school life where she used to take part in plays, etc. During her college too she was involved in theatre. After completing her education, Callies got an opportunity in a TV show called “Queens Supreme.”
Several guest appearances followed later, after which Callies got a major role on Fox’s “Prison Break.” After enacting the role of the famous character Sara Tancredi in the first two seasons, the character was bid adieu in the 3rd season. However, Callies’ fans wanted to see her back and so the character was brought again in the 4th season.

The couple welcomed their daughter Keala Wayne Winterhalt and went on to adopt a boy called, Oakes Wayne in 2013.
